About Safır Internatıonal School

Safir international school was founded in 2015 by a group of experienced educational specialists who are academically and scientifically qualified. It began operations in June 2015 and had approximately 300 students from kindergarten through 10th grade in its first academic year. Due to the school›s outstanding reputation, student enrollment has grown from 300 students in its first year in one school, to 5 branches, 200 teachers, 160 administrators and support staff, and more than 2500 students from approximately 45 different countries

High School Program & Graduation Requirements

Safir International School offers a full high school program designed to prepare the students for universities entrance. To graduate and earn Safir American High School Diploma, students must complete a minimum of 26 credits in high school and attend a minimum of 12trimesters of academic work, equivalent to four years (Grades 9-12).

Transfer students who are joining SIS after Grade 9 will have their transcripts reviewed in order to determine if they meet SIS graduation requirements; individual programs will be developed to help the transfer students meet the graduation requirements.  Transfer students should spend at SIS at least one academic year in order to graduate.

All students must earn a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 (on a 4-point scale) and must pass each course with a minimum grade of 60(D-) in order to graduate.

Total Needed Credits:

Other requirements: students need to complete 100 hours of community service. (Number of hours will be determined for students joining SIS after Grade 9.)

 

Notes:

Please note that there will be a transition period for the group of students who are currently in Grades 9 and 10; this means the required subjects and related number of credits needed to graduate might be modified.
