At Safir International School, we utilize a standard-based curriculum and modern technologies to apply the 21st century skills, to create students who can take the lead in an increasingly competitive and global society while maintaining their identity and sticking to their roots. To do so, we divide our curriculum into four sections:
Core Subjects (English – Math – Science)
Our curriculum for the core subjects is published by McGraw-Hill, a learning science company and one of the “big three” educational publishers that provides customized educational content, software, and services for pre-K through Postgraduate education. Our curriculum is also approved by the California Department of Education in USA.
Identity Subjects ( Turkish – Arabic – Islamic Studies – Islamic History)
In a global society, we aim to join the wave of development and technology, while maintaining our identity and roots, therefore at Safir, we teach Turkish along side English to help succeed locally as well as internationally. We also teach Arabic as a gateway to learning the Holy Quran and the rich history of Islam.
Skills Subjects (Art – Calligraphy – Music – Physical Education)
We at Safir believe that arts and sports are a form of outlets to our children’s creativity and passions, and we seek to facilitate
Extra-Curricular Activities (Oil Painting – Photography – Scouting – Art – Business Management – Music – Science – IT )
We provide the best in international and American education for international guest families in Istanbul.
Safir is a dream came true for a man who wanted to provide a beautiful setting for children to learn and become the kind of citizens who will make a difference as leaders of tomorrow.
